During the summer of 2003 we spent most of our time renovating the original farmhouse. Once we discovered that the house was in excess of 150 years old our plans to tear it down were quickly changed and we start a major restoration of the home. This involved moving the house to the top of the hill and then doing a complete update inside and out. As we found out more and more about the house we are glad we decided to keep it. The orginal piece was built in the early 1800's first as a log cabin using wooden peg construction.
Since then we have restored the old wood shed into a real neat bunkhouse for people who are working on the farm. Plus we built a new Garage/machince shop and a new (old style) Barn
and last year we built a pigionier (its a long story)
